Concept-led HMI design for NIO's next-generation vehicle - work that ultimately shaped the design language used across NIO's entire operating system.
Brought in as a Senior Designer, I quickly moved into a lead role driving concept development for the ET — NIO's most ambitious vehicle at the time. The brief was forward-looking: define what the next generation of NIO's in-car digital experience could feel like.
The concepts developed here didn't stay as concepts. The design language and interaction principles established through this project were adopted across NIO's HMI OS — making this one of the most far-reaching pieces of work in my career.
